Welcome to Blotted Ink Photography (The Artist Formally Known as Dannie) - where your wedding day is captured with colour, fun, and honesty. Based in Paignton, Torbay, the SEO Gods demand that I tell you that I capture colourful, candid, emotion-led weddings across Torbay, South Devon, and the South West. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who is as excited about your day as you are- and loves working with couples who want their day, their way, unapologetic as hell - you’re in the right place. I’m also a neurospicy bean, and am here for the couples who need some quiet time, a little sensory bag of goodies or just to dance off some energy before the moment! I am always here to create calm, to guide to get the best shot and use my experience to ensure every photo takes you back to the moment. Feeling a little nervous?

Your wedding day shouldn’t feel like a photoshoot! I specialise in relaxed, guided photography for couples who want to feel present, not posed.

I know being in front of a camera can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not used to it, so my approach is relaxed, gentle and unobtrusive.

I’ll gently guide when you need it and step back when you don’t - so you can actually enjoy your day, but feel confident your photos will look fabulous! With my experience shooting real weddings and all the beautiful chaos that comes with them, you can trust I’ll keep things calm, organised and flowing so you can focus on celebrating. On your discovery call, I will always ensure I find out what photos matter to you so we can capture them!
